Welcome,

If you’re reading this you are either a teen or parent of one… okay or just someone who wanted to know what “the refuge” is. If you fit one of those three types then here we go. The Refuge is a fancy name for the student ministry @ TLCC, but the name has purpose and meaning to what we do. As a student ministry we want it to be a safe place for teens to share, learn, open up, be themselves, and transform… and what better place then a refuge or place of haven. Our Purpose as a refuge is to transform teens from followers of the world to followers of Christ, we do this through 3 unique stages: follow, become, and emerge. Each of those will be described in their separate pages. We hope that by the time a teen leaves our ministry they will be equipped to face the world and have the mindset of Christ!

Teens if you are reading this… come try the refuge out! Meet some new people that are like minded and striving to live a counter cultural life. We have fun, learn a lot, and most importantly teach and live out Christ!

Parents if you are reading this… send your students our way, we want to get them involved in living like Christ, and we believe this is the best place for them to be! Also we need your help, you have unique gifts that we can use in our ministry… come hang out with us and use those gifts for the kingdom.

Others if you are reading this… You might just be the person that blesses a teen who truly needs it! Your example might be what guides teens towards missions in our global church. Come volunteer and help the generation that is coming!
